A leading mobile network operator in the country has announced new offerings for this year’s Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), popularly known as ‘Saba Saba Exhibition’, an annual event prepared by the internal and external trade regulatory body, TanTrade.

“This year, we are elevating rewards to a whole new level at the Mwalimu Nyerere (SabaSaba) Fair Grounds. We are particularly thrilled to spread the word about our new resourceful flagship devices; Tecno FAYA and Itel GADO.

According to the operator, the two flagship smartphones, with the latest technologies, are priced very attractively to suit the everyday Tanzanian customer. They will be on sale with an instant 10% cash back offer for purchases made via M-PESA during Saba Saba,” said Happiness Macha, Vodacom’s Retail Operations Manager.

The trade fair is a colorful event that has been attracting thousand of Dar es Salaam residents and visitors from other regions and neighboring countries due to the diversity of its exhibitors.

Vodacom intends to take full advantage of this opportunity to cement its position at the forefront of the Tanzanian market and also get face-to-face interaction with its customers. To this end, the giant mobile network operator spread out many special offers and facilities at the just-ended event.

“We believe our customers deserve the very best – the best network, the best customer service experience and certainly, rewards that they really want. Therefore, we encourage our visitors to participate in fun competitions to stand a chance to win new handsets, prizes as well as buy new smartphones for as little as Sh65,000 and enjoy our superior services,” added Macha.

Aside from the 10% cash back offer for M-PESA purchases of the two flagship smartphones, customers visiting Vodacom Tanzania at the Saba Saba grounds were availed an opportunity to purchase various other smartphones and devices on offer at competitive prices.

Vodacom Tanzania also stationed customer care agents at the fairgrounds to deal with customer needs. Additionally, customers will also be able to buy new sim cards, register lines and raise various queries.

All purchases made during the campaign will be entered in draw in which buyers could win new handsets or other attractive prizes. Ms.Macha went on to say, “This is an exciting year for us as we celebrate some incredible milestones in Vodacom’s history,’’ Ms. Macha said adding:
