Over 100 exhibitors from 13 countries across Africa and beyond are expected to participate at the Swahili International Tourism Expo 2018 (SITE) that is to be held in Dar es Salaam between October 12th and 14th, this year.

Speaking at the just ended International Tourism Expo, Karibu / Kili fair 2018, the Marketing Officer with the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB), Hozza Mbura said SITE will provide a wide range of excellent business worldwide.

“As you know, Dar es Salaam is the business capital of Tanzania and one of the most vibrant and fastest growing African cities; so SITE will provide a wide range of excellent business worldwide,” he said.

Mbura said that the SITE expo will attract exhibitors and buyers from various African countries including Tanzania mainland, Kenya, Morocco, Uganda, Zanzibar, Rwanda, Mauritius, and Malawi, among many others.

 “Hundreds of travel and tourism professionals from all over the world are expected during the two Expo days,” Mbura explained.

According to the TTB official, a well managed and yearly improved hosted Buyer programme will be implemented to showcase the travel possibilities in Tanzania within and beyond the well-known attractions in all 16 national parks, around Mt. Kilimanjaro and on the beautiful beach Island of Zanzibar.

“Also, SITE is providing modern and effective trade fair concept to connect businesses to the business travel industry, surrounded by seminars, workshops, and conferences,” he said.
