Former Prime Minister Mizengo Pinda has challenged local and International investors to chip in and invest in the education sector as a way of spurring government’s initiatives to provide quality education services in Dodoma both as a region and capital city.

He noted that there was a shortage of international school services in the capital city, which calls for key intervention all key players.

“All embassies are preparing to move to Dodoma, which will propel more demand for international school services in the capital city,” he said.

The former premier made the revelation in his brief remarks during a brief ceremony to open One Planet School here. Located within the University of Dodoma (UDOM) compound with the mission to provide holistic and quality education from an international perspective for students to become responsible individuals, the new facility will be adopting pupils between 3 and 18 years.

Dodoma Regional Commissioner Dr. Binilith Mahenge said during the event that his office was continuing to create a conducive environment to motivate and allow many investors to open more international schools in the region.
