Members of the business community in Kilimanjaro Region, especially those residing in Moshi Municipality, have been urged to utilise the annual Kilimanjaro Premiem Lager International Marathon to boost their businesses.
“Hotel owners for example can some out with new and different packages which could attract many participants and other visitor who come to Kilimanjaro Region during this important annual event,” she hinted.
The organizers and sponsors of the event include the Kilimanjaro Premium Lager (42 kilometers) — main sponsors — Tigo 21 km and Grand Malt for the 5 km fun run.
Others sponsors are KK Security, Keys Hotels, Kilimanjaro Water, TPC Sugar, Simba Cement, AAR, Kibo Palace Hotels, Precision Air, CMC Automobiles while Barclays Bank Limited are new sponsors.

The Tigo Northern Zone Manager, sponsors of the Half Marathon, Lilian Mwalongo, said the company was proud to be part of Kilimanjaro Marathon for the fouth year running.
